"This is a direct apostrophe to Cyrus". I do not understand the use of the word apostrophe here. Is this the right word? - BobKilcoyne (talk) 04:58, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

It seems the author of the commentary uses "apostrophe" as figure of speech here, considering the word of God to Cyrus who was not present at the time of prophecy (as he was born a few centuries later).
