Request to review evidence on ferrous bisglycinate
[edit]Hello,
I have a disclosed conflict of interest because I am associated with WellBeingMora.
I am not requesting that the WellBeingMora website or product page be added to the article.
I noticed that the article discusses ferrous bisglycinate in relation to iron supplementation and its tolerability. A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials may provide additional evidence relevant to this topic:
“The effects of oral ferrous bisglycinate supplementation on hemoglobin and ferritin concentrations in adults and children: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials”
PubMed: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36728680/
Could an editor please review whether this source provides any information that should be incorporated or used to improve the article?
Thank you. MoraImpex (talk) 10:36, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- I think the article on iron supplement is the more relevant topic. Here is a PubMed search listing for "iron supplement-women-children-cochrane" from the last 5 years of systematic reviews, a high-quality of reviewed evidence per WP:MEDASSESS, left pyramid.
- Cochrane reviews are typically rigorous sources for topics like this. Zefr (talk) 17:10, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
