Work Plan
[edit]I would like to work on this article to have it rated higher than a Stub-class article. Currently it only has a lead section an no other sections. I would like to add sections and elaborate on the topic. The likely sections would be Pathophysiology, Complications, Signs and Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment. With this, I will add more resources to the database as well as images. Eroccaforte (talk) 17:58, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

[edit]What does the article do well?
I really liked the pathophysiology section discussing the mechanism of how post-traumatic arthritis occurs and its relevance for intra-articular fractures. I appreciated the details in the second paragraph of the pathophysiology section. The signs and symptoms section appears well written as well. Expanding on the complications of intra-articular fractures is a good section of the article.
Some changes I would suggest for the author?
Some changes I would suggest to the author would be some grammatical fixes. The introduction begins with "An intraarticular fracture is a bone fracture that typically run parallel to the joint surface which the break crosses into the surface of a joint, into the articular cartilage". Possibly fixing run to runs and potentially fixing the rest of the sentence to make clearer sense. I don't know if I am incomplete in my knowledge of orthopedics, but the second underline can sound smoother.
Another example is in the pathophysiology section, "Fragments of this fracture undergoes two pathways". Possibly fixing it to, Fragments of this fracture undergo two pathways of healing(or something like that).
Another example is in the diagnosis section, "As with most medical evaluation and diagnosis, history and physical examination is vital to making an accurate diagnosis." This is an example of simply changing the is to are.
What's the most important thing the author could do to improve the article?
The most important thing the author could do to improve the article are some mild grammatical fixes. The article otherwise is well written, with the correct information, in the correct context, with appropriate resources. AlmightyCake (talk) 18:05, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
