Northern Nevada Extension (Kyle Canyon-Mercury)

[edit]

Over the last few days, there's been a lot of edits/reversions over proposed routings in Arizona and Nevada. While the result of the Arizona content was to remove, Nevada content has not reached a similar conclusion

My proposal:

Keep the content for the Kyle Canyon-Mercury exits, as we know the exit numbers, know the interchange designs, construction for the first slate of improvements is planned to start in the next five years, etc.

Mercury-Fernley content should be removed, we don't know what exits it will have, NVDot has not started planning, etc. GenericCacti (talk) 20:21, 12 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can you please supply citations for those proposed interchanges? Without confirmation, they should be removed per MOS:RJL otherwise. Imzadi 1979  21:40, 12 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Has construction started? If not, MOS:RJL says that we don't add proposed interchanges. Imzadi 1979  03:42, 13 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Construction is planned to start in 5 years.
(also the very category is called proposed, so it’s a little weird to me that we can’t add proposed interchanges)
I went ahead and removed all the interchanges except the two existing ones. GenericCacti (talk) 17:23, 13 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
I would say if record of decision is met then maybe but we don't want to make guesses and speculations. Better to wait, I guess. Cwater1 (talk) 18:57, 13 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
