Conflict-of-interest disclosure

Sam Halabi, a co-author of Internet Routing Architectures, is my father. I am contributing as an unpaid volunteer and have not been commissioned by him, Cisco Press, or any other party. Authorship attribution

The current Cisco Press catalog lists Sam Halabi as the author, while the second-edition title page uses the wording “Sam Halabi with Danny McPherson.” Because the sources use different forms of credit, I revised the lead and infobox to follow the current publisher attribution while leaving source-specific bibliographic citations unchanged. Post-acceptance cleanup request

Now that the article has been accepted, would an uninvolved editor please:

• activate Category:1997 non-fiction books and Category:Books about the Internet, which are existing categories appropriate to the article;
• correct “477(first edition)” in the infobox to “477 (first edition)”; and
• harmonize the author name in the infobox (“Bassam Halabi”) with the short description and lead (“Sam Halabi”). Google Books uses Bassam Halabi, while Cisco Press uses Sam Halabi. These refer to the same author, but I defer to uninvolved editors on the clearest presentation.

I found another source that may clarify the name issue. This Cisco Press copyright page reproduced by O’Reilly lists “Sam Halabi” as the author and “Bassam Halabi” as the copyright holder. Perhaps the article could use Bassam Halabi in the infobox and mention in the lead that he is credited as Sam Halabi in later publications. I’ll leave the wording to other editors. @Meajoe Thank you for disclosing your COI and making an effort to follow the COI guidelines; I appreciate the transparency (much easier than when people try to deny it!). Parts of this article read like they were generated with or heavily assisted by LLMs - please see important guidance at Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models: "the use of LLMs to generate or rewrite article content is prohibited". I rewrote a few bits that especially sounded like AI. A couple of those categories did not exist (a frequent outcome of using LLMs to generate articles), so I replaced them with a relevant category. Oh also, I added it to Category:Computer books instead of Category:Books about the Internet. The "Books about the Internet" category is mostly popular nonfiction, and the "Computer books" category includes related technical books such as Communications, Computers, and Networks and TCP/IP Illustrated, so it seemed more suitable there next to its cousins.
