"The Hague"
[edit]Despite the fact that the European Patent Convention provides that the European Patent Office shall have a branch at The Hague (art. 6(2) EPC), the "The Hague" office is actually situated in Rijswijk, a town close to The Hague that is (and always was) a separate minicipality with its own mayor, with 47.000 inhabitants. Previously I wrote "suburb" but that word is inappropriate since a suburb is part of the city it is a suborb of Rbakels (talk) 05:47, 16 May 2012 (UTC) (message updated in 2020)
