Revision E

[edit]

https://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/20170001546.pdf

The above link links to Revision E of the International Docking System Standard. At the front of the document there is a list of DCN (Design Change Notice?) incorporated for Revisions D and E. Unfortunately since the titles of the DCN are not given I do not know what has been changed. Andrew Swallow (talk) 14:05, 17 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Operation - how are the petals/guides moved out of the transfer passage ?

[edit]

Could add : Operation - eg. how are the petals/guides moved out of the transfer passage ? - Rod57 (talk) 13:55, 12 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

They are not. The petals are outside of the 0.8 m passage. -Arch dude (talk) 17:24, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

List of IDSS spacecraft?

[edit]

I think we need a list, and it should mention which role(s) are implemented (active-only, passive-only, active-passive). -Arch dude (talk) 16:41, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Merge International Berthing and Docking Mechanism and NASA Docking System to here?

[edit]

Much of the info in those articles is also here already. I think that a typical Wikipedia user would benefit by having all of the info in one place. -Arch dude (talk) 15:52, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
