Administrative arrangements before and after Russian annexation

After annexation Russia kept all of the local administrative arrangement

"Autonomous Republic of Crimea" dropped "Autonomous" and became just "Republic of Crimea", there are separate articles for each of these entities

Sevastopol became Federal City in Russia but in Ukraine it also had a similar status, but without word "federal" in it. It was city with special status, as outlined here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_with_special_status#List_of_cities it was not part of Crimea administratively but was and still is considered part of Crimea geographically ~2025-40833-84 (talk) 05:08, 15 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
