Tagging for deletion articles less than a day old

[edit]

This article was tagged for deletion shortly after it was created. Appropriate references have since been added.

Should you have an issue with this article, please fix the perceived problem instead of tagging it for others to fix. Happy editing! TeriEmbrey (talk) 15:07, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Articles about living people should never be created without at least one valid reliable-sourced reference; unreferenced articles about living people are a serious problem on the encyclopedia. That's why the BLPPROD process was put in place. Therefore, when you create a biography of a living person, please include at least one valid reference upon creation. This article had none - only YouTube and IMDb, neither of which are independent reliable sources. Unreferenced BLPs will get PRODed. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 16:47, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with World War Two (web series)

[edit]

Not independently notable, the World War Two (web series) does not meet GNG. I would nominate it for deletion, but some of the content from the lead and Background section could be added to this article. The episode summaries are all copyvio to boot. signed, Rosguill talk 02:37, 10 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've gone ahead and merged content from Background and the lead. signed, Rosguill talk 22:03, 13 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion: New lead image for the article

[edit]

Hello everyone,

I’d like to suggest updating the lead image of Indiana Neidell’s article. A new, high-quality and freely licensed photo was recently uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, showing him on the set of *The Korean War* YouTube channel, which reflects his current work and appearance more accurately than the existing image.

Here is the file:

Indiana Neidell on the set of The Korean War

The image was taken in 2025 in our studio and released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license.

I’m aware of the COI (conflict of interest) policy, so I’m not making the edit myself. I’d appreciate if an uninvolved editor could review and possibly replace the current image with this one.

Thanks and best regards! Annadeinhard (talk) 20:06, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

The image looks okay from a licensing point of view. But it does not look very good in the infobox. I would suggest creating a cropped version that is in portrait orientation. Even better, if you have one where his hand is not obstucting the view of his face, that would be great.--— Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:27, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the feedback! I've uploaded a cropped portrait version here:
Let me know if this works better! Annadeinhard (talk) 20:51, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
