In infobox of Hungary, Catholicism should have assigned 29,2% instead. It seems that someone excluded Greek Catholics from Catholic Church and indluded to Other Cristians what is wrong. In „Religion in Hungary” Wikipedia Site Catholicism has 29,2% assigned. ~2026-16036-08 (talk) 21:16, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- I think that it would be good to replace „Other Christians” with Lutherans, Calvinists, etc.

- Because e.g some smaller denominations that are included in „Other Christian” may not always be Christian. ~2026-16036-08 (talk) 21:27, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
Partly done: First request appears to be straightforwardly correct and in line with precedent (at Slovakia and Romania, for example.) Second request I don't really see the utility of or the rationale for. Discourses on Livvy (talk · contribs) 03:22, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

Over enthusiastic POV editing
[edit]The info box for this article lists Magyar as the CURRENT prime minister of Hungary. He is expected to become that at a date in the near future, but until that time Orban remains prime minister. Please correct. 23:43, 12 April 2026 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-22592-04 (talk)
There is almost no way for a country to self-describe
[edit]A political philosophy like "illiberal democracy" can't be taken as the country's own words. Even elected officials that represent a country to the world can't project a statement beyond their own credibility, which is limited in a Wikipedia context. EnjoyLightEnjoyTruth (talk) 16:59, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, it's not a good idea to include Orbán's statements in the lead, especially after his party was defeated. Mellk (talk) 17:45, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

The last paragraph of the introduction refers to Hungary having "tuition-free secondary education", but links to a page listing universities and colleges (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_universities_and_colleges_in_Hungary), which are part of tertiary education (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tertiary_education). Based on this context, and the relevance of tuition to tertiary education as opposed to secondary education, it is recommended that the wording be changed to "tuition-free tertiary education".
