[edit]

Sorry for misspelling horizontal. I can't seem to change it in Wikimedia Commons. Feel free to do so or make a disambiguation page. The image comes from Barth F. Smets, Ph.D.-Dear Paul,

sorry for the slow reply. I have the following figure which was made internally by us, in preparation for the Nat Reviews article.

With proper citation, this can be used.

Regards,

Please mention electroporation as a mechanism

[edit]

The section "Mechanisms" should mention electroporation. According to research by Eiichi Hondo and Atsuo Iida (https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2023/12/231205114816.htm), electric eeals can trigger transfer of environmental DNA (from a river) into fishes, through a mechanism called electroporation. Disproof predates proof (human genome)?

[edit]

In the Human Genome section, a study is mentioned, and then it is challenged in the next sentence. However, the study is from 2015, while the citation for the challenge is from 2001. So I'm guessing the second citation needs to be updated? Or else the text needs to be updated, because it implies that the citation will give detail on the challenges made to the 2015 study. — Epastore (talk) 15:14, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Given no reply, I have removed the second citation and replaced it with "citation needed." — Epastore (talk) 17:52, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
