@Jeppejul: Thank you very much for restoring your revisions to the article with requisite sourcing! I have one question: I noticed you changed the article's original claim that the Visa was a 47-foot, 25-ton vessel, which was recorded in The New York Times, to 49 feet and 35 tons. Thank you for making this article on wiki.

Yes the boat was 47 feet as all of the 33 ketch rigged the sailing RS. About tonnage, it depends what type of tons. 25 tons refer to the gross register tonnage which is not weight, but the boats volume. 25 reg. tons is also the old way of calculating the volume; today's calculation would give a different tonnage but is not normally done on boats under 49 feet. Today we more use the boat's displacement (weight) which is 35 tons.

Another thing; I don't believe the story that she "fell" overboard, but hard to prove at sea.
