This article needs sources, especially given the credentuals of the person who created it. Is this place Hogeats Vank? And is Hogeats Vank the same Hogeats vank that was saidto have been founded to banish whispering evil spirits living in a nearby rock. Persistent addition of irrelevant content by an unregistered editor

An unregistered editor persistently adds irrelevant content to the article. They cite a report of New York Times but the said report does not mention anything about the monastery (the unregistered editor acknowledged this). The report states that people were killed in a wooden building in Bitlis, not in the monastery (the monastery itself is not a wooden building and is in Gürpınar). The report also states that a number of people were thrown into Lake Van. The monastery is in a mountainous region and 33 km away from the lake. There isn't any claim in the report that those victims were related to the monastery. I tried to remove the irrelevant content but the unregistered editor kept reverting my edits.--BSRF (talk) 10:02, 24 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
The reports do not seem to about the same building, but there is nothing here about a building called Hogots or located in Gürpınar. There is a mention of a monastery, but it is in Urfa. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 22:19, 29 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
