COI edit request: factual corrections

[edit]

Hello. I'm Alex Mao, Head of Public Relations at HeyGen. I have a paid conflict of interest, disclosed on my AlexMao24, so I'm requesting these changes rather than making them myself. These are small factual and formatting corrections; I plan to post a separate request for content updates later.

1. Short description

  • Current: "Avatar-generating machine learning model"
  • Proposed: "American AI avatar video company"
  • Reason: HeyGen is a company, not a machine learning model. The infobox and lead already describe it as a company.

2. Categories

3. Incorrect link in the History section

  • Current: originally named [[Surrealism|Surreal]]
  • Proposed: originally named Surreal (unlinked)
  • Reason: The link points to the art movement, which is unrelated to the company's former name.

4. See also section

  • Proposed: Remove the "See also" section, which currently lists only Tinder (app).
  • Reason: Tinder is unrelated to HeyGen. Avatar (computing) is already linked in the lead, so no replacement is needed per MOS:SEEALSO.

5. Description of Group-IB

  • Current: "Russian cybersecurity analysts Group-IB"
  • Proposed: "cybersecurity firm Group-IB"
  • Reason: Group-IB is headquartered in Singapore and has exited Russia.[1]
