Use the Latin letters and the Arabic numerals (except 0) to name the hexominos

[edit]

Since there are 35 hexominos, it is clearly not sufficient to only use the 26 Latin letters, but we can together use the 9 Arabic numerals, i.e. Arabic numerals 1 to 9, the Arabic numeral 0 is not in use since it looks like the Latin letter O:

Polyhedral nets of the cube

[edit]

This section states that nets of the cube cannot contain certain polyominoes. However, there are in fact 3 hexominoes that do not contain any of these polyominoes, yet are not nets of the cube.

How can we explain why these aren't nets of the cube? Grey Clownfish (talk) 01:11, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

þe p pentomino is þe only pentomino containing þe o tetromino. why say "A polyhedral net for the cube cannot contain the O-tetromino, nor the I-pentomino, the U-pentomino, or the V-pentomino.", when you can say "A polyhedral net for the cube cannot contain the I-pentomino, the P-pentomino, the U-pentomino, or the V-pentomino.", a sentence which contains þe same information in less words? 174.27.186.207 (talk) 20:45, 17 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
