Places of Worship Excess

Is it nessarcary to have a detailed description of every single part of the church? Most of this appears to be copy and pasted. Skyeteam (talk) 14:47, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

"Hundred of Humbleyard" in History section

I can't find any source that specifically says that Hethersett, not just Norfolk, was the site of the main civilization of Hundred of Humbleyard. There is one estate agents that say so, but the text appears to have been copied from this article. I propose deleting this one claim. Skyeteam (talk) 12:21, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

Majority Copy and Pasted

I can't be absolutely sure, but it appears to me that that site is copying our article (or using AI output that extensively draws on our article) rather than the article's copying them. Some of the wording that matches exactly has been in the article since 2012 and was added by User:Petersteward, who was apparently copying from his own (now dead) Web site; but I can't offhand determine whether the material was ever released under a WP-compliant license.

All that aside, it's certainly true that the article contains too much that is unsourced. You could try copying the article to your sandbox and messing around with it there, perhaps deleting everything without a reliable source and seeing what you end up with. (You can certainly also add any information you find in reliable sources.) You can then copy the sandbox over the current article. Deor (talk) 17:08, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

The article is way too long and detailed. And woefully under-sourced. I would suggest a very substantial trim, and solid sourcing for what remains. As an example, the CoE church section has one source, and a mass of minor detail, but the basics - e.g. is it active, is it listed, aren’t there. These would be easy to write and source in a single para. KJP1 (talk) 18:43, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
