Work in progress

[edit]

I see this article as a work in progress, and I appreciate it concentrates on the Maria Lejarraga translations.

Date of birth

[edit]

I used an AI tool (Copilot) to help draft the lead. Copilot came up with a different date of birth from the one on Wikidata (1880). The Wikidata one seems too late.--Thoughtfortheday (talk) 21:13, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Husbands

[edit]

Huntington was actually her second husband. Her first husband was Thomas Ball Criss. They were married in 1899 and divorced a few months prior to her marriage to Huntington. She left her daughter Mildred E Criss (an author) behind to be raised by her father in New Jersey. Thomas Criss died in 1913.

Interesting newspaper article. It appears to suggest an earlier date for the first marriage than the one you specify. Thoughtfortheday (talk) 07:32, 14 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
