Yes, the date original release date should be changed to 1988: "the film premiered in Milan, Italy, in the fall of 1988 before making its way to Sundance" (source)Jmj713 (talk) 02:21, 14 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Per [[MOS:FILM]], should we standardize Heathers as a 1989 film throughout (lead, infobox, and categories)? Seems like most sources support 1989 as the release year. Proposing a consistent 1989 designation if there’s consensus. Tigers1984 (talk) 21:46, 13 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
