Mental Health
[edit]Can someone please update this page regarding the poor state of mental health in Namibia. Currently ranked number one in Africa by WHO when it comes to suicide. Thank you in advance. 41.182.79.250 (talk) 17:32, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- It is proper for a health by country article to include up to date data on health care. I found so far that Namibia has two mental health centers, but no detox, which I added. I will keep looking for sources to know what more to include.
- Please help me by sharing reliable sources here on this talk page with me and other editors who can help. LumenArchivorum (talk) 13:53, 21 May 2026 (UTC)

[edit]I’ve recently made substantial edits to this article, but I’m not a medically trained editor, just a generalist interested in public health among other things. I’ve done my best to follow the relevant guidance for medical content and sourcing (including MEDRS‑compliant sources where available).
It would be helpful if one or more editors deeply familiar with Wikipedia’s medical sourcing and style guidelines could take a look at the current version, with an eye to:
- Compliance with WP:MED and WP:MEDRS
- Due weight and neutrality, especially in the epidemiology and health system sections
- Whether any statements interpret cited sources less than appropriately
Please feel free to adjust and trim any parts that need it, and let me know if there are specific issues I should keep in mind for future edits.LumenArchivorum (talk) 21:06, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
