1.Havyak Brahmins are Aryan Brahmins. 2. There origin from Ahichatra of uttarakand and Uttar Pradesh. 3. There surname are Bhat,Hegde, dixit, Joshi, Upadhyay.

[edit]1.havyaka Brahmins are Aryan Brahmins 2. They came from Ahichatra of Uttarakhand and Uttar pardesh. 3.The havyak Brahmins surname are Bhat, Hegde,Joshi, Upadhyay and dixit. 4. There origin are Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. 5. They were doing pooja then agriculture now they are seen employed and doing business. 6.They are in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Uttar kannada district cities and villages , Hubli and many more cities. - I am going to clean the article up because it is a big mess. It is true that the Havyakas originated in Northern India (Ahicchatra) but they have lived in South India since 7th or 8th century AD so claiming that Havyakas are "Brahmins of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand" is sorely misleading. By that logic, we are all "from" Africa as the human species originated there, but we do not say that about every ethnicity, do we? (For instance we don't say that an ethnic group based in rural China is "originally from Africa"). -- Pulimaiyi (talk) 08:01, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
