First stressed skin aircraft?
[edit]The first or one of the first, in 1937? That seems hard to believe to me. They were already building aircraft like the DC-2, the B-10, the B-18, Grumman was making metal float planes for the military, etc. "One of the first" is relatively meaningless, and they carefully phrased it so it doesn't actually state that it is the first metal stressed skin aircraft, while still strongly implying that it was the first. It was one of the early ones, that's about it. 2600:1000:B111:1BE5:0:20:DC36:9A01 (talk) 11:45, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
