According to Fodor's

[edit]

It says in the article "according to Fodor's", but who or what is "Fodor's"? Is it an expert person on Japanese shrines? Is it an encyclopaedia on Japanese shrines? In my book, the parz about "Fodor's" should use a reference or a link to an wikipedia article so that a reader knows what this "Fodor's" is.
I presume it's not Jerry Fodor, that was the first hit for a duckduckgo search on "Fodor", since his article not mentions Japan even once. --Rava77 (talk) 14:34, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Rava77: Fodor's refers to Fodor's, a publisher of guidebooks and presumably the name of the guidebook for Japan itself. I've added a wikilink. For future cases, you can always try entering unknown terms into Wikipedia's search bar. Thanks for bringing it up. Opencooper (talk) 21:05, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
