This should definitely be merged with the Halifax Regional Municipality article or the Halifax, Nova Scotia (former city) article but I lack the know-how. Same with Dartmouthians and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

My understanding is that this term does not apply to people from Halifax, Yorkshire, only people from Halifax, Nova Scotia. See discussion here.--Mhockey (talk) 11:49, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
