Carta's Guide

[edit]

I don't see any reason to consider "Carta's Official Guide" reliable for history. There are no sources and no clear authors, also the bias in dealing with extinct Arab villages is obvious. The "official" in the title means basically nothing and in fact since the Israeli Ministry of Defence published it, the more official it is the less we can use it unqualified. "Official history" is the opposite of "third party reliable source". Zerotalk 13:07, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Alternative name and founding date

[edit]

The 1952 Yearbook of Israel lists this place as "Hadid (Tehiya)" as if Tehiya was an old or alternative name. Can this be confirmed? It also states the date of founding as May 12, 1949, which contradicts the "1950" given elsewhere. Zerotalk 13:15, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
