I amn't an expert, which is why I don't want to edit the section based of this alone. But this references the Romani people quite extensively, however the Irish Travellers (which is what the "g" slur references), are a distinct cultural group, unrelated to the Romani people. I checked a few of the sources and they don't seem to back up the history in this section  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:bb6:147f:3858:c9be:aaa8:61f4:40b3 (talk) 03:10, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup needed

[edit]

I came here to just remove archive.today links (per WP:ATODAY) and instead found that:

  • There is no longer a Western Australian Gypsy Horse Society, so that can be removed.  Done
  • There is no Gypsy Cob Society of America (GCSA) — it was renamed to Gypsy Horse Registry of America (GHRA) and their domain name has changed at least once (gypsyhorseregistryofamerica.org vs myghra.org) — so any references to Gypsy Cob Society of America (GCSA) should only exist as historical mention in relation to its current organization.
  • There are 26 occurrences of gypsyhorseregistryofamerica.org which could be found live on myghra.org.
  • Much of the old archived information is likely to be found live online.
  • It could use an external links section which points to each registry, and that would be a good way of monitoring over time which ones have been dissolved.  Done

Needs cleaning up.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 18:00, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
