"200 metres freestyle"

A new addition states, as per the cited source, that Shand was the New Zealand record holder for the 200 metres freestyle. This is highly unlikely as New Zealand did not use metric distances until 1970. The actual distance for the record is probably 220 yards freestyle. Shand won the NZ championships at this distance in 1924 in a time of 2:57.2. I suspect whoever wrote the profile in the cited source merely changed the distance to the metric equivalent.
