| I propose to change this article by expanding on what is already there because it is currently just a stub and not even a full article. It tries to explain guard digits in two lines which doesn't give a real good idea on what guard digits are. Also I feel that this article should make mention of guard bits as they are used in computers for numerical analysis software. This article makes no mention of their use here. Being that this article is linked to from numerical analysis which deals heavily in software and computer to solve math problems I feel that is should be mentioned here and possibly link to a separate article that deals specifically with guard bits as they are used in computers. 75.180.15.98 (talk) 12:08, 30 September 2008 (UTC) |
