Mistake in example?

[edit]

I wonder if this is correct:

"Heavy syllables since they are required to be stressed disrupt perfect trochaic and iambic rhythms. However, morphemes with a sequence of at least two light syllables show contrasting stress patterns:

nónojì "hot peppers" ('LL)('H), trochaic
vs.
jútabài "motmot" (L'L)('H), iambic"

If I understand the stress pattern correctly, the word for "motmot" should be jutábài, not jútabài, as indicated by the notation showing light and heavy syllables. Clarification and/or correction requested. -193.166.18.227 (talk) 11:56, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
