Back in April/May 2007, HoloGraphica created the article for Ground Level and subsequently edited it 20+ times to August that year. More recently in October/November efforts to blank or delete the page have occurred. One of these has included the claim that "band members do not wish to have this information on Wikipedia". As far as I can see there is no contentious biographical material in the article. Could interested editors please expand on their concerns on these matters on this page?shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:58, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Upon consideration and many attempts to try and get a proper biographical overview of my band - Ground Level -, I am not interested any longer in having this information available on Wikipedia and would like the page deleted ASAP. If I want this information removed from Wikipedia I should be in my rights to do so considering it was me who put this up to begin with and it personally relates to me. I appreciate your respect of my firm request to remove this material.— Preceding unsigned comment added by HoloGraphica (talk • contribs)
You might want to read the guidelines on WP:COI and WP:AUTOBIO. Looking through the article history, I can't see any attempts to add information that were removed, nor any attacks by others, so I am confused why you want it deleted. WP:OWNERSHIP is another guideline that may help you understand how this is an encyclopedia, not something you can turn on or off at your whim. The article is up for deletion at the moment, so I would suggest you first read some of the guidelines about the deletion process and make your views known there. If you are also editing using the User:Daftlux account, then you shouldn't have two accounts - see WP:SOCKPUPPET. Like I said when I remove the deletion request, we can't be sure of who you are - you could be a rival band or ex-manager wanting to cause harm to the band. There is a WP:OTRS/N noticeboard where you can confidentially confirm your identity, but it is mainly used to remove private or defamatory information. Thanks Guys for all your help on Wiki. I am happy to withdraw my deletion request now. Please advise how I may do so or just go ahead and cancel my request - Holographica — Preceding unsigned comment added by HoloGraphica (talk • contribs) 06:27, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
