Proposed update

I work for Great British Chefs and would like to propose updates to this article, which hasn't been updated since approximately 2013. The company changed ownership in 2020 and has published six books since 2018. I've broken the changes into separate requests below with sources. Happy to discuss any of them.

Request 1: Update the lead section

The current lead is outdated. Please replace it with: Great British Chefs is a British food media website featuring recipes, instructional guides, videos, food features and chef profiles. Founded in 2010 by entrepreneurs Vimal and Gill Khosla, Ollie Lloyd and Alastair Creamer, the site launched its first app in July 2011. The website is operated by Food Publishing Limited, which acquired the assets and intellectual property of the original Great British Chefs Limited in 2020. Great British Chefs has contributed a recipe series to The Guardian. Request 2: Add "New ownership (2020-present)" subsection under History

Please add this as a new subsection after the existing app content: In April 2020, Food Publishing Limited was incorporated and acquired the assets and intellectual property of the original company. The company is led by Mark Bucknall (CEO), Nissa Naik (managing director) and Tom Shingler (head of content). It also operates international subsites including Great Italian Chefs (greatitalianchefs.com), Great Polish Chefs and Great Spanish Chefs. Request 3: Add a Publications section

Please add a new "Publications" section after History: Great British Chefs has published six cookbooks. Two have been shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers Awards.

• Great British Chefs: Open Kitchen (2023). 50 recipes from 30 chefs, with photography by Andrew Hayes-Watkins. Published by Clearview Books. Reviewed in The Caterer. ISBN 978-1908337726

@Adon462 reference 1 isn't suitable as its a self reference. I don't think request 4 is do-able, its more promotional Aloneinthewild (talk) 22:11, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

Thanks @Aloneinthewild - I've removed Request 4, and removed reference 1 (the self-reference) from Request 1 so it now cites only Companies House and The Guardian. ~2026-35418-85 (talk) 11:50, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
