HUGE error
[edit]In no way was this lock/dam ever operated by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Not only is it well outside the area of TVA operation allowed under the TVA Act as amended, that act, which established the TVA, was not even enacted by Congress until 1933, whereas the article accurately states that the structure was abandoned in 1931. I don't have a reference to prove the operator being the United States Army Corps of Engineers but it almost assuredly was.2600:1004:B16A:1E3C:9871:80C:B80D:14FB (talk) 23:50, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
