[edit]Would it be appropriate to add the fence post use of the word? I can find no mention in any of the pages dealing with fence construction but this use is in wiktionary:godfather. Can a disambiguation point to Wiktionary? Brian McCauley (talk) 08:14, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Wrong link to german article
[edit]The link in the language navigation menu which links to the german wikipedia is wrong. It links to the article of "Gottvater" meaning literally "god father", while "godfather" in general doesn't mean "god father". The german translation is "Patenonkel" (male) or just "Pate" (male/female), actually meaning the godparents and not "god father".2001:638:208:D200:DD4A:5223:8E99:DAAF (talk) 11:22, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
