These images are so small as to be thumbnails. However, if you click on them you don't get a larger version. This is especially unfortunate, as the labels are too small to read. The astrocyte image enlarges when you click on it. Current event tag added

I have applied the current event tag to the top, as this is still a relatively recent scientific discovery. The time scale for the meaning of "recent" in scientific research is longer than the typical news cycle, but still worth mentioning at this point for something only first discovered in 2013, and followup studies based on the initial research are still in progress. --DMahalko (talk) 05:50, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Last paragraph in lede

The last paragraph about 2015 discoveries in the lede is disingenious. First, it has no correspondence in the body and goes into considerable/excessive detail with author names and citations, and secondly it supposes a contradiction to the original discovery by Maiken Nedergaard, which I fail to see. The findings are an addition in that they showed dural sinuses and meningeal arteries lined with conventional lymphatic vessels; while this is still brain it is brain surface.

I am not sure it needs to be in teh lede, and will move this para to the body. Wuerzele (talk) 18:22, 12 January 2025 (UTC)

Para-vascular, or Peri-vascular?

The term paravascular is used throughout this article, but many other more recent citations about it use the term peri-vascular, meaning outside the blood vessels. Does anyone know more about this in order to correct that older usage? UnderEducatedGeezer (talk) 20:08, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
