"Carestini's career began in Milan in 1719"
[edit]This is already false. Carestini's career began in 1714 in Rome where he sang the role of Gisella in Caldara's Oratorio di Santo Stefano Primo Rè dell'Ungheria.--Suessmayr (talk) 08:15, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, you are right about everything except Rome, in fact Carestini sang in that Caldara's oratorio in San Severino Marche, as it is recorded in the book «Der Sänger Giovanni Carestini und "seine" Komponisten», written by Claudia Maria Korsmeier and published in 2000.
