George Wallace image dispute

I’ve been noticing that there has been much discussion of which portrait should be used for George Wallace. Any chance we can come to some sort of agreement? I personally find the 1983 portrait to be ugly and the 1962 one to be nicer but that’s just me. (eye)rizz (talk) 00:34, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Generally speaking, the most important criteria for a lede/infobox photo is high quality clearly showing the subject's face. For living subjects, it's usually preferable to use the most recent high-quality photo. For deceased subjects, there is a broader lattitude for that.
