Jerningham's knighthood

[edit]

I have removed reference to Jerningham's knighthood.
I can't find evidence that he was ever knighted, including that he received either the KCB or KCH. His final London Gazette reference[1] does not give his title as 'Sir' or mention the Hanoverian Order. The other reference provided[2] quotes his Times obituary which says he had the CB - Companion of the Order of the Bath, which does not attract a knighthood.
Please restore if clear evidence can be cited.
