Top Players
[edit]There really should be talk of top players. If you need examples...Zoink: Undisputed top player, holding records for top-one verifications including Tidal Wave and Avernus. Doggie: Renowned for high-level skill, often holding spots in the top 10 with completions like KOCMOC. Trick: Known for verifying top-tier demons such as Firework. Diamond (verified Suicide Circles) Atomic (verified Thinking Space) Answish (verified The Golden) Numboy (verified Astral Divinity) Technical (verified Orochi/Ragnarok) Combi (verified Subsonic/Digital Descent) SpaceUK should be here, too. If you don't know, Space is a prominent, controversial former Geometry Dash player from the UK known for the biggest cheating scandal in the game's history. After rising to fame (2020–2023) by "beating" top-tier demons like Slaughterhouse and The Golden, he confessed to hacking ~90% of his completions using macros, subsequently attempting a legitimate comeback in 2025. ~2026-17497-36 (talk) 20:09, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
- it could be a seperate article called "list of top Geometry Dash players". Dani Bay (talk) 21:44, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
- the amount of info is small, so it should be the same article. ~2026-17497-36 (talk) 20:29, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

- GD's top players aren't nearly notable enough to warrant a mention on this article, especially as there's no reliable sources covering any of them. This information would fit better on the game's wiki. Corsaka (talk) 17:15, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
- I mostly agree... but the players act as a reliable source themselves. ~2026-17497-36 (talk) 20:30, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- Reliable, independent sources are required to meet Wikipedia's standards for establishing reliability and notability. The players themselves don't meet that. ThomasO1989 (talk) 02:23, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

Possible return of Famidash mention?
[edit]@Corsaka,
I found another "rip-off" version of Geometry Dash with information on that ripoff. One of the factors of the deletion of Famidash was that it wouldn't fit into any category, but a new category could be made in the article speaking of spin-offs. We could include Famidash and the rip-off I found into that category. The information available would most likely be big enough to suffice as an entirely new category. Funny enough, the ripoff I found was made 5 days before my Famidash topic, I just didn't know it was a thing. Let me know what you think. God bless.

- this could be the return but if you dont mind me asking what is exactly the ripoff you found? Dani Bay (talk) 19:55, 24 May 2026 (UTC)

- what ripoff? Like the scratch one, or the "geometry dash lite" one, etc etc Nugs | T·C | (they/she) 14:51, 25 May 2026 (UTC)

- I'm counting "other games" as a category, so a new category could be called "rip-offs" or something like that Finalities (talk) 14:12, 27 May 2026 (UTC)

- the reason I included Famidash to begin with was because it had reasonably reliable sourcing on the topic - the same can't be said for many of the other derivative games inspired or based on GD, i fear. Corsaka (talk) 07:00, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- You might want to check WP:CATEGORY, because that doesn't apply here. Categories are intended to organise articles, if there isn't an article on a subject it can't be categorised into one. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 07:40, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- I think @Finalities means categories as in sections, not the one you use to categorise articles. Dani Bay (t·c) 18:50, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
- This is true, so @Finalities do you have any soucres regarding Web Dashers? Dani Bay (t·c) 18:48, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

Could someone add chompo to the music section
[edit]Robtop partnered with the music artist chompo and it's not in the article ThicctionGD (talk) 04:26, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
- @ThicctionGD do you have any reliable sources for this? Jamie9870 (talk) 08:49, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
Orbs are not rings

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. FMRadio(talk | edits | she/her) 23:10, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
Edit request in gameplay section
[edit]Instead of "requiring the player to use a single button" put "requiring the player to use one or two buttons" because of two player mode ~2026-41161-11 (talk) 13:37, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- @~2026-41161-11 this would be a great suggestion, but this might be unclear for people who don't play the game. I think that it should be changed to "requiring the player to use one or two buttons, the latter being introduced in a later update." Jamie9870 (talk) 08:47, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
