Undue weight tag

[edit]

@ThatIPEditor: Hi there, I see you added the undue weight tag to this article and wanted to ask for clarification - you didn't start a discussion here or explain your reasoning in the template, so I'm a bit confused as to what the issue is. Cheers, Ethmostigmus 🌿 (talk | contribs) 23:29, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Ethmostigmus, I thought I provided the reasoning in the template but I apparently did not. I will add the reasoning momentarily. ThatIPEditor They / Them 23:37, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
No worries - would you be willing to give me some more specific feedback on how I could address your concerns? The available literature on this procedure is unfortunately very limited, with no literature dedicated to assessing patient outcomes/satisfaction, so I was quite limited in what I could write on the topic, but I welcome any suggestions. Many of the sources I used are paywalled, but the primary source I drew upon for information about outcomes/adverse effects was this excellent open-access paper. Is there anything in particular you think I left out? Ethmostigmus 🌿 (talk | contribs) 08:10, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@ThatIPEditor, pinging in case you didn't see my above comment. Ethmostigmus 🌿 (talk | contribs) 06:03, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
As it's now been a few weeks without a response and I am still not sure what the actual concern leading to the placement of this tag is, I have boldly removed it, however, as the main contributor to this article I very much appreciate feedback, so if anyone has any outstanding concerns please let me know!
