Intent to edit

[edit]

It is my intention to edit the main page of the Gayola wikipedia page by adding more information about the scandal itself, the way the scandal played out in the courts and then additions to the section about Gayola in New York. I may also rearrange the information to organize the page if there are no protestations.Jshanahan21 (talk) 21:01, 1 December 2020 (UTC)  Preceding unsigned comment added by Jshanahan21 (talkcontribs) 21:41, 27 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Addition to the New York Section

[edit]

Added additions to expand the gayola in New York Section by including bath houses and specific examples of the system that was created by this bribery and why there was no large scale scandal. Added to San Francisco section

[edit]

Added Sub Headings, as well as more information on the scandal itself and the event leading up to the scandal. information on the trials with the cops and the results of the trials and who was charged and acquitted. copied from User:Jshanahan21/sandbox Jshanahan21 (talk) 21:26, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Vallerga

[edit]

The "gayola" section begins with "The Aftermath of the Vallerga v. Dept. Alcoholic Bev. Control bolstered the confidence..." However, the Vallerga case isn't mentioned before. This is very confusing. If someone could remedy this, that'd be fantastic! --95.89.78.72 (talk) 00:47, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
