Year

[edit]

According to the first source (^ "It's Ten P.M. Do you know where your Ken doll is?", Esquire, 1978-01-02. Retrieved on 2007-12-18.), the article was from the January 2, 1978 issue of Esquire. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Esquire but, like most magazines, the magazine is finished and released to its subscribers a bit before it is sent to the news stands on "the official date". It would also stand to reason that the doll made a Christmas release (think of how much more money they would have made that way ;-)). Finally, I made the edit because we got an external tip that the year was actually 1977. Wouldn't you agree that all of these factors would lead us to belive by a logical extrapolation that the release date was actually 1977? Cbrown1023 talk 00:59, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
