I think it was called Grudge Match - they competed against staff from another video games store in Hull and beat them
Price anomaly
[edit]Sometimes pre-owned prices are ridiculous. Sonic Riders PC is £22.99 in Hull, GAME (same company) sell it £9.99 new! Is this commonplace, I'd have thought the two chains would charge the same, so the pre-owned game should've been under a tenner. Digifiend 09:24, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Closure
[edit]Hasn't Gamestation closed down since it was under the GAME group, which closed yesterday? Their site has already gone into permanent maintenance like GAME has. Jonouchisan (talk) 05:31, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
GameStation 'brand'?
[edit]The article states that GameStation began in 1993. This isn't true.
The original shop in York was The York Game Exchange, located on Gillygate. It retained this name for several years, and subsequent shops featured that nomenclature.
Leeds Game Exchange, and Hull Game Exchange being the first shops that Steve and Julian operated outside that original shop in York.
The GameStation 'brand' didn't come into effect until at least the middle of 1996 when the first GameStation store opened in Nottingham, and the Game Exchange shops were rebranded to follow suit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.101.99.149 (talk) 01:01, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
