Hmm, I started this because there wasn't much information on specific printing premedia technologies and standards, and was hoping that others would add to it. I notice it's been marked as being too ad-like, but the actual information is very factual. I guess it's because it only has a link to the organization that developed it? I can try to find some more writeups about it and include those.

I'm thinking of removing the advert template - the article has been improved, and it's been a year. The G7 standard is the work of a specific industry coalition - it's as uncontroversial in its industry as the USB standard is in computing. Krinndnz (talk) 23:28, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reference #4 appears broken

[edit]

While reviewing the article, I noticed that reference #4 ("Printing Solutions") appears to resolve to an unrelated website rather than a source discussing the G7 Method. This reference is currently used to support several technical statements in the Basic Set-up, Colorimetry, and Benefits and Disadvantages sections. Since the linked page appears unrelated to printing or color management, these citations may need to be updated or replaced with current reliable sources. I am new to Wikipedia editing and wanted to bring this to the attention of other editors before making any changes to the article. Thanks, Dancinggate (talk) 19:10, 23 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
