What is $x_{g_{i}}$?

The article says "and let $x_{g_{i}}$ be associated", and I am guessing $x_{g_{i}}$ is an element of a field. Could we be more explicit SmokeyBurrito (talk) 14:51, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
