This article focusses far too much on music. Frisson is not just about music. Ben Finn (talk) 09:20, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Reading this article gave me frisson. 129.228.45.43 (talk) 12:42, 30 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

At the very least, it would be nice to explain this topic in terms of the picture in the article. 24.126.106.136 (talk) 15:50, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Some links about the topic worth sharing, reading these links brought me to this page:

Sorry I can't find the time to implement them into the article.

Feb 2017: The citations aren't reliable, specificaly [3], it leads to a definitions page with 3-4 lines of text and seems extremely dubious. No actual scientific backing or formal definition, relying too much on anecdotal evidence and internet community here say looking at the article written.

Dance Performances causing frisson

[edit]

Frisson can be induced by the nature of dance. Engaging in a dance performance involves both observing the dancers and hearing the music. This type of performance stimulates two sense modalities which include audition and vision. This scenario provides the means for frisson to occur, yet does not guarantee the conflict between audition and vision will trigger frisson.
