Where to redirect

Eventually I think "Fresnel reflector" should have its own article but for now the only notable application of this technology seems to be solar thermal energy, so I will redirect it there. Lumenos (talk) 20:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Make "Fresnel reflector" an article

The article Concentrating Linear Fresnel Reflector might be merged into this article (if it is not notable enough for its own article), if it is not deleted (because no one is willing to find and type up source references). Lumenos (talk) 21:08, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure the section should be called "Concentrating Linear Fresnel Reflector". Isn't this redundant because every linear Fresnel reflector is a concentrating linear Fresnel reflector? Lumenos (talk) 20:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

It is also confusing because some editor is using the acronym CLFR, with the C meaning "Compact". Lumenos (talk) 21:04, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh I think I have seen what may be called "optical Fresnel reflectors". They make an image look 3D or they change the image. I guess they could be called linear also when all the reflectors are vertical. I think others have the optical reflectors in a circular pattern instead. Lumenos (talk) 22:45, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
