Sorry, but this illustration from the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, actually shows John Francis Barnett, not Arthur Sullivan, conducting 'The Building of the Ship', not 'The Martyr of Antioch'. The bass soloist - the man with the beard is not Frederick King, but George Henschel. It was, however, Leeds 1880. The illustration is by John Disndale. -- User:Styfflyttelkitteh, April 17, 2017

Can you give your source, please, with a link if possible? -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:19, 6 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

St. Michael's church

[edit]

Are we referring to this? St Michael on Greenhill, Lichfield -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:44, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Ssilvers Good question. I'd also like to know where the content came from @ Jack1956 what source did you used for the content on King's baptism? Was it the British Musical Biography entry or ancestry.com or another source?4meter4 (talk) 00:20, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
It would have been Ancestry, if I remember correctly Jack1956 (talk) 16:03, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
