"Goodbye to Footcloth" Reference

Ref. #3 to "O'Flynn, Kevin (December 19, 2007). 'Goodbye to the Footcloth, Hello to the Sock'" does not point to Moscow Times. Is this a valid reference? This article doesn't come up when searching for Kevin O'Flynn online. Even if it was available back in 2007, it doesn't seem valid at this point.

Russia did not abandon the foot wraps. Here is a Russian soldier in a 2011-issue camouflage uniform putting on his foot-wraps

Yep. I served in 2010-2011. We got socks at arrival point, but further we were using only footwraps. Fedorkov Dmitry (talk) 21:39, 1 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

That would be useful information, but we'd need a reliable published source for this, see WP:V. People's own experience is not admissible as a basis for Wikipedia article, because other people can't verify it, see WP:NOR. Sandstein 22:03, 1 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
