This is the least controversial pass I've seen in a while- it seems to utilise the literature well, and is written and illustrated with care. Just a few quick comments:

Can we have a distribution category/categories?

Added some.

What does Temera mean?

I've looked but found nothing; I can only speculate that it was an obscure 19th century local name

"Little is known about parasites of the finless sleeper ray;" This comes across as slightly OR-y; I can let it slide if need be, but do you perhaps have a source saying that little is known about parasites?

I've removed the phrase.
