Does this correctly belong at FiloFAX? Rich Farmbrough 12:26, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I'm curious. Why, here, is the name Filofax rendered with a capitalised FAX as the last syllable? Is there some reason not obvious to me? Here's the 'heritage' page from the Filofax site itself, which doesn't refer to itself in such a way: Ian Tindale 15:13, 4 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

History & sizes

[edit]

I'd like to see the background here in details. I've heard it from radio or something, but I can't find it from the net with details. I miss the following information which might be of use for others too

Known sizes

[edit]

I have a filofax Urban Mini Organiser, the size of the paper for this is 67mm wide by 105mm high. I would love to see a set of sizes. --DuLithgow (talk) 14:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've found the sizes... http://www.filofax.co.uk/sizeguide/ --DuLithgow (talk) 14:53, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction

[edit]

"The company name was coined for the name of the product when it was founded in 1921." "The company was known as Norman & Hill until the mid 1980's". Perhaps the first one should be "the name of the product was coined when the company was founded in 1921." ...actually I think I've figured out what it's trying to say and I'm going to edit it. 81.131.49.68 (talk) 12:28, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Other brands

  • Some older Chinese material has no maker's name or brand name.

Other Sizes

[edit]

Most Filofax clones have 6 rings, though there is a 7 ring clone and a small 5 ring sort.

The spacing of the holes of Firenze 6 ring clone is: 19/19/19/19/19 mm. (19mm = 3/4 inch)
