Proposed merge
[edit]ISTM that these two articles are about completely different things. A field strength meter is, typically, a self-contained, calibrated item of test equipment. A signal strength meter is, typically, a feature of a communications receiver or transceiver. There is relatively little overlap between the two. Harumphy (talk) 08:25, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
- I concur. Also, an FSM relies on a calibrated or standard antenna, generally integral, an S-meter does not. I oppose the proposed merger. It would be inappropriate. Hertz1888 (talk) 09:57, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
